I thought the plot moved pretty slowly, but I love the characters so much that I'd read them just standing around talking.

Giddon was rather fantastic though, a nice surprise from reading, ya know?April (BooksandWine)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15268544465552896599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5116811800215368408.post-65444696405252242822012-07-28T22:52:52.003+01:002012-07-28T22:52:52.003+01:00Hm, interesting. I tried listening to Fire on audio, but I'm so not an audiobook listener and I kept losing my place and so I finally gave up. I do want to pick it up again in proper book form though. It sounds like I should read Fire before Bitterblue. I'm excited for Bitterblue because I liked her a lot in Graceling. I'm glad you prepared me for the slower pacing. I think I can handle it in this case.Small Reviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16072352095510905410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5116811800215368408.post-45212359832287224422012-07-18T10:31:41.977+01:002012-07-18T10:31:41.977+01:00I have read The Night Circus and I loved it. I agree completely; it's slow but the descriptions are so beautiful and magical.TGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17832981435264804886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5116811800215368408.post-61957197648475080632012-07-18T08:56:43.515+01:002012-07-18T08:56:43.515+01:00I have heard of this series before reading your re...I have heard of this series before reading your review. I have seen the cover around, but I have not looked into it. I have found that I can overlook a slow pace as long as the characters and descriptions are great. Have you read The Night Circus? The story is layered and develops slowly but the descriptions are so vivid that I desperately wanted the settings to be real. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!Oh!
