In My Mailbox #18

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme created by Kristi @ The Story Siren.

Not much to report this week. I bought one book and got another for free.

Bought:

The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
I'm intrigued by a Jack the Ripper story and this was the only one of this week's great releases that came in an easily affordable paperback. It made me feel a little better as I'll have to wait a little to buy some others that I really want to.

Free e-Book:

Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen
This was temporarily available to download for free (although it looks like that's expired now). I still need to finish reading The Luxe series, but I'm glad I got this while I could.

Looking forward to seeing what you got this week!

  7. Hi! Thanks for commenting :)
The reason I've posted so much in a month is because I originally had to do a web presence assignment for university, so I did a blog and when after it was marked, I decided I hated it so I copied and pasted everything from that blog onto my new one!
I'm enjoying Shiver so far :) Can't wait to read the rest!!

Thankyou so much for you support :)

  9. I loved Bright Young Things so much more than the Luxe series, and I can't wait to read the sequel! I don't know if it's the setting or just that Godberson's writing is getting better or what.

And I'm so glad you got The Name of the Star too. I can't wait to see what you think! (I can't wait to see what I think too!)
